The paper has this headline on the story: "Justice's wife launches 'tea party' group," and writer Kathleen Hennessey predicts, "the nonprofit run by Virginia Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is likely to test notions of political impartiality for the court."

Andy McCarthy of the National Review Online is less than impressed, calling the column a "hit job" by "Kathleen Hennessey on Ginni Thomas, wife of Justice Clarence Thomas." McArthy adds: "It's an unmitigated disgrace."
Jeffrey Toobin of CNN believes the "Supreme Court (is) riven by partisan politics," and predicts more heat from left vs. right on the court. The CNN analyst shares his views here.
