Police are blaming a computer error for their multiple mistaken raids on an elderly couple's home in Brooklyn, NY. A report from NBC News in New York reveals that officers have raided the home of the elderly couple, Walter Martin, an 83-year-old war vet, and his 82-year-old wife at least 50 times by mistake.

The cops were looking for a variety of criminals, but none had any connection with the Martins.
"I'm really worried," Rose Martin, 82, said. "How could so many people get my address and how could cops be coming from so many different precincts?"

According to the report, the police raids on the law-abiding citizens' home were started years ago and blamed on a "technology mix-up that started when the couple's Marine Park address was used to test an NYPD computer system in 2002."
Police say that they are now aware of the issue and tells the Daily News that they have "implemented a measure to ensure no cop will be sent to the home without first double-checking the address."
