A Bill Clinton statue in Kosovo has been unveiled. AOL News notes Clinton is celebrated as a hero by Kosovo's ethnic Albanian majority for launching NATO's bombing campaign against Yugoslavia in 1999. Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh are teaming up in an attempt to purge moderates from the Republican party, claims Elizabeth Benjamin of the New York Daily News. Both stories follow with links.

One - "Officials in Pristina, Kosovo, unveiled an 11-foot statue of former President Bill Clinton on Sunday. Many ethnic Albanians admire him for his role in stopping the Serbian crackdown on their bid for independence 10 years ago, reports AOL. Photos and more here on the dedication to the former US President.

Two - Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin are ready to cast off Republicans deemed "too moderate" and replace them with what seems to be empty space. Tossing aside President Ronald Reagan's eleventh commandment the two are blasting anyone to the left of some imaginary line of conservatism.
Benjamin predicts the two want to "remold the GOP in the image of raucous town hall protests and "tea party" rallies of the summer." Will they succeed and can they win with that strategy?
