DC: Outrage Over Pelosi First Class Euro Trip, Tesla Sedan, Al Sharpton Complains

Feb 13, 2009

Is that the Tesla Sedan or are you just happy to see me? Rev. Al Sharpton criticized Democrats on Wednesday for "diluting" education portions of the economic stimulus bill in order to get re-elected. More outrage will be headed the Democrats way as well as a report claims that Nancy Pelosi needs to get this bill done so she can take what sounds like a taxpayer funded vacation to Europe. Talk about tone deaf, Pelosi may give Tom Dachle a run for his money.

Tesla Motors won't unveil the Model S until March 26, but the Silicon Valley start up provided a glimpse of the all-electric four-door sedan with a teaser shot it released this morning. Wired has the photo.

Rep. John Culberson, TX claims the "stimulus" bill must be urgently voted on today -- because Speaker Nancy Pelosi is leaving at 6:00 PM for an 8 day trip to Europe! Culberson made the charge on Houston's KSEV radio. Pelosi is hoping to lead a delegation to Europe; there's a meeting with the Pope and an award from an Italian legislative group. Dan Cirucci

Rev. Al Sharpton criticizes Democrats for 'diluting' education portions of stimulus bill. Stressing the need for advocacy, he used the analogy of a thermostat — which changes or pushes temperature — and a thermometer, which merely records it. One student asked him which applied to Obama. LA Times
