The Marah Land Zoo in Gaza has painted donkeys to look like Zebras for the children to enjoy as the only two they had perished from hunger. More animal tales, this one a true "When Animals Attack" story, a Florida golfer lost an arm on the links when an alligator grabbed his arm as he was trying to retrieve his ball from a water hazard in South Carolina. Donkeys Painted in Gaza; Florida Golfer Loses Arm to Alligator

One - "Gaza City zookeepers have found a creative way of drawing crowds to their dilapidated zoo — by painting their donkeys," and Associated press story notes. Video is here.


Two - A golfer that was playing the 11th hole of the island's Ocean Creek Golf Course, leaned down to pick up his ball when a 10-foot long alligator grabbed his arm. the beast then rolled ripping the arm from the man as he looked for a snack.

Fellow golfers rushed to his aide and freed the man and retrieved his arm. The gator was then killed.
