Electoral College Scoreboard - Election Results 2012, Who Won the US Presidential Election?

The Electoral College map going into tonight's 2012 results.

The electoral college scoreboard is being tallied on November, 6, 2012 - who won the US presidential election?

The election results for the presidential race for 2012 are coming in on election night and the race features incumbent President Barack Obama vs. GOP challenger Mitt Romney.

One candidate needs to get to 270 Electoral College votes to win the presidency and right now all of the actual voting results favor President Obama.

In the presidential race, battleground polls showed a mixed picture as the polls opened today,.

Obama had the edge in Ohio in polling, while Romney has the edge in the crucial state of Florida.

Nationally, the latest and final Gallup survey showed Romney with 49 percent and Obama with 48 percent support.

For the Electoral College, Slate has this break down at 6:30 on the west coast:

Toss-Up States Yet To Be Called (100 electoral votes):

Colorado (9), Florida (29), Iowa (6), Nevada (6), New Hampshire (4), North Carolina (15), Ohio (18), Virginia (13)

States Called For Obama (153 electoral votes): Vermont (3), Maine (3 of 4), Massachusetts (11), Maryland (10), Illinois (20), Rhode Island (4), Delaware (3), District of Columbia (3), Connecticut (7), New Jersey (14), New York (29), Michigan (16), Pennsylvania (20), Wisconsin (10).

States Assigned to Obama Based on Polling (94 electoral votes). California (55), Hawaii (4), Washington (12), New Mexico (5), Minnesota (10), Oregon (7), Maine (1 of 4).

States Called For Romney (152 electoral votes): Kentucky (8), Indiana (11), West Virginia (5), South Carolina (9), Oklahoma (7), Georgia (16), Arkansas (6), Tennessee (11), Alabama (9), Mississippi (6), Kansas (6), Louisiana (8), Nebraska (3 of 5), South Dakota (3), Texas (38), Wyoming (3), North Dakota (3).

States Assigned to Romney Based on Polling (39 electoral votes): Alaska (3), Idaho (4), Nebraska (2 of 5), Utah (6), Missouri (10), Montana (3), Arizona (11).

Right now, all of the numbers favor a re-election for President Barack Obama.
