Two girls that police believe are 12 and 14 years old have robbed a bank in Symmes Township, Ohio and are on the run. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, both girls were described as black, the older girl (estimated age 14 or 15, say police) is heavyset and about 5'5" tall while the younger girl is thin and only 5'2" (estimated to be 12 years of age).

Police are asking for the help of the public to find the suspects. A report from the USA Today notes that the two entered the bank (photos of the crime scene here from the Enquirer) and handed the teller a note demanding money.

According to the newspaper account, "The girls implied they would harm bank employees, but did not appear to have weapons." Still, the employees followed their training and handed over the loot." The tellers also gave the girls "bait money" or bills with serial numbers that are recorded, so once the money is spent it can be tracked, hopefully back to the suspects.
Police were in hot pursuit, including using tracking dogs from the Warren County Sheriff's Office and helicopters, but the two young women were able to elude authorities.
According to WKRC in Cincinnati, police officers say bank security video didn't capture a good picture of the two suspects.
