Was it the Loch Ness Monster or golf balls? Video footage from the famed lake deep down in the depths of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands is online at CNN and while we are looking for the famed Nessie the Loch Ness Monster researches spotted something.

Mike O'Brien of SeaTrepid explains: "At first we thought they were mushrooms, there were so many. But when we lowered the camera, we were surprised to see that they were in fact, golf balls."

According to Wiki "The earliest report of a monster associated with the vicinity of Loch Ness appears in the Life of St. Columba by Adomnán, written sometime during the 7th century." The famed photo from 1933 made her legendary.
