A man who found a beer truck and helped himself because he thought he was Heaven will not be charged with theft or public intoxication.

According to a report from Trib Local, the man stumbled upon a refrigerated beer truck owned by the Schwaben Verein German heritage club and grabbed a pitcher and began to guzzle down some suds.

Once members of the club noticed the man taking the beer and getting hammered, they called police.

They arrived and did not arrest the man, instead they sent him for medical help.

The report adds that before being sent to Northwest Community Hospital, he told police he didn’t think he had done anything wrong. He thought he had died and gone to heaven – a free beer truck.
