No bail for Roger Stephens, a man that slapped a woman's child without her permission while standing in line at a Georgia Wal-Mart. A judge is letting him sit until his next court appearance without bail after the altercation. The incident at a Wal-Mart in Stone Mountain has many aghast. While standing in line waiting to check out of the Wal-Mart a woman identified as Sonya Matthews was with her child that was crying.

That apparently made Stephens so angry he smacked the kid four times. According to United Press International the 61-year-old man who allegedly slapped a 2-year-old girl multiple times had already warned the mom he "would take action if she could not stop her young child from crying." He did just that by slapping the child again, and again.


Jess Snow has more on the smack down and the cops reaction along with with links to a CNN video where the man is quoted after he slapped the crying child and she finally went silent, "See, I told you I would shut her up."
