A man from Indianapolis wants the TSA to apologize after he says an agent spilled some of his dead grandfather's ashes on the carpet at the airport and then laughed at him as he tried to scoop the ashes from the floor.

John Gross, of Indianapolis claims an agent mishandled the ashes and the Transportation Security Administration said they are investigating.

ABC News reports:

At the airport in Orlando, Gross says a TSA agent opened the container holding the remains, though she was not supposed to. Then she spilled some of them.

"She didn't apologize. She started laughing," said Gross.

"I was on my hands and knees picking up bone fragments. I couldn't pick up everything that was lost. There was a long line behind me."

So far - there is no video of the event.

The report adds that "According to the agency's website, remains should be examined by an x-ray machine."
