A NYC tourist was raped in an alley and police have released a photo of a police sketch and are reviewing surveillance video to try to find the suspect.

The NY Post reports the woman had just left the Lavo nightclub, but after an argument with the driver got out.

According to a report from the NY Daily News, the young woman stepped out of a cab and as she was texting one of her friends, she was grabbed from behind.

A man dragged her into a nearby alley and raped her, police said.

The suspect in the rape of the Australian tourist was described as a black man, 35 to 40 years old.

He is about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds and was wearing a skull cap and dark clothing.
