A Saudi princess has been robbed of $15 million in Italy. According to AFP "Burglars made off with jewels and cash worth 11 million euros (that tallies to about $15.6 million) from the hotel room of a Saudi princess in Sardinia." The robbery sparked an International incident. Police believe it was an inside job and are investigating the Hollywood movie like plot.
So far they have not named the Saudi princess that is $15 million lighter. An Associated Press report notes that "police said the princess was not in her room at the luxury Colonna Pevero Hotel in Porto Cervo, a glitzy resort on the island of Sardinia, when the robbers struck sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday."
