Starbucks VIA Instant Coffee is not instant coffee as you know it, the Seattle based coffee company explains on its website. "This is rich, flavorful Starbucks coffee in an instant." Is it something you would try? The company is banking on keeping their customers enjoying their drinks even away from the retail store.

How do you get it? USA Today reports, "Eight months after Starbucks began selling its Via instant coffee in Seattle and Chicago, the company on Tuesday will begin offering the dissolvable drink to the rest of the country and in its Canadian stores."

So - what is it? The company touts it this way, "Starbucks has found a way to offer a truly great cup of coffee that you can prepare by just adding water" and adds, "it’s made with the highest-quality, ethically sourced 100% arabica beans. The magic is in a proprietary, all-natural process that we spent years perfecting."
Is it good or bad? You will get to form that opinion with the nationwide roll out of the new product as Starbucks adjusts to the changing economic times.
