Whale watching off the coast of South Africa was quite the adventure for Ralph Mothes and his wife Paloma. A whale leaped out of the water and crashed on their small yacht.

CBS has the video. The yacht was damaged, but remained afloat. the couple weren't injured.


Susan Hatch reports: Poachers in a helicopter shot the last female white rhino that lived in a game reserve near Johannesburg, South Africa with a tranquilizer gun, and waited for the animal to collapse.

"They then sawed off her horn with a chainsaw, and let her bleed to death."

CNN reveals conservationists estimate that there are now only 18,000 black and white rhinos in Africa, down from 65,000 in the 1970s.
