Al Sharpton Outraged: Claims Paris Hilton Release is Racial Favoritism
Paris Hilton spent three days in jail that now counts as five. As the prison diary turned the blonde star left on day three. I think. According to TMZ Paris Hilton went without makeup and she even took her contact lenses out and her eyes went from blue to brown. She took one shower, privately. She did a little reading and then she checked out and went home and now Al Sharpton is not happy that Paris Hilton has been released even though some inmates told Paris that she got a raw deal.

| Al Sharpton Outraged: Claims Paris Hilton Release is Racial Favoritism |
Reverend Al is now blasting the justice system for what appears to be favoritism in the early release of Paris Hilton. He says that the move reveals a dangerous double standard in terms of how prison inmates are treated. Sharpton was not alone in condemning Hilton's transfer, as many pundits took to the cable-news shows Thursday afternoon to voice their outrage over the decision.

Hilton released a statement thanking the sheriff's department and jail personnel "for treating me fairly and professionally." "I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes," she said. Still - Al is not happy. Sharpton said, "Though I have nothing but empathy for Ms. Hilton whom I have met and appeared with on Saturday Night Live the night I hosted in 2003, this early release gives all of the appearances of economic and racial favoritism that is constantly cited by poor people and people of color. There are any number of cases of people who handle being incarcerated badly and even have health conditions that are not released."
"I have served several sentences for civil rights and civil disobedience actions and I even fasted which caused health concerns to prison authorities who paid for a doctor to come see me daily rather than release me. This act smacks of the double standards that many of us raise."

The high-maintenance Hilton hotels heiress, reality TV star and model will be trading the spartan cell for her luxury West Hollywood home to serve out the rest of a 45-day sentence.
Will Al picket outside of the new Paris jail - uh house?
