American Idol Clay Aiken Gay Sex Claim: The Fans Strike Back
Clay Aiken's fans are hopping mad with former marine John Paulus. The fans, sometimes referred to as 'Claymaniacs' and a part of 'Clay Nation,' are furious at the claims. One report even claims that Aiken was in New York City on the evening that Paulus claims he and Clay engaged in gay sex.
The fans strike back
James Shepherd notes that Clay Aiken is (not) capable of being in two places at the same time. He also nakes the point that Clay was just a runner-up in the competetion, but has big-time name recognition.

The entire episode began when John Paulus told the National Enquirer that he spent the night with Aiken after the singer emailed him just before Christmas in 2005 after seeing his ad on a gay website.
Once his story went to press Clay's fans struck back, according to the former Marine.
A report on Page Six says he's upset that he's still being deluged with threatening e-mails from Aiken's rabid fans, while the singer himself - who claims he is straight - has remained mum on the Enquirer story.
"I still have them threatening me," Paulus said of the "Claymaniacs." "It's, 'I'll poison your pet, I'll blow up your car, I'll spray-paint your house.' That kind of stuff. But I'm not concerned about them."

Paulusclaims to have a washrag with Clay's "DNA" but let's face it, unless Aiken sues, he'll never have to prove anything.
And the enterprising man says he may even "re-enact the romp in a porn movie." Pretty seedy and outrageous, and it seems he may just be after money and publicity.
So - is Paulus just searching for some quick cash and his fifteen minutes?
The fans have made up their minds, now you can decide.
