Jennifer Aniston is looking forward to getting out of the house after surgery. The California beauty had a procedure to correct a deviated septum according to her rep and now she is waiting to heal.And like other television watchers, Jen is a fan and is taking in some American Idol on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, according to a report from Life & Style Weekly.

According to a report set for publication in this week's magazine a friend close to Jen says that although the actress, 38, was still bandaged up and on painkillers one week after her rhinoplasty, she’s eager to show off her new nose to her family and friends - and possibly to a new man in her life.

“She’s so happy she had the problem corrected, and she can’t wait to see what her nose looks like when it’s fully healed,” says the friend. Meanwhile, she’s passing the time watching plenty of American Idol with BFF Courteney Cox. Says the friend, “Jen’s plan is to stay inside until she’s ready to unveil her¬self to the world.”

When she does get back on her feet and out the door she plans on getting back into the swing of things as far as dating according to the report. The magazine reveals that before the surgery and during the holidays she had a secret date with her Hollywood Hills neighbor Keanu Reeves, 42, at her home.

They've yet to have that crucial second date but the chatty friend says Jennifer is optimistic.
