American idol favorite David Archuleta has a lot of things going for him but apparently his stage dad Jeff isn't one of them. The young star is likely headed for a win on American idol. As the show continues to lose popularity and viewers, it will make it tough for anyone to defeat him. The remaining male competitors are David Cook and Jason Castro.

American Idol Favorite David Archuleta: Dad's Antics Criticized Again (Fox)

The three remaining ladies on the show are Brooke White, Carly Smithson and Syesha Mercado. It is hard to see any of them winning as David has captured the kids vote and many have speculated that he may be getting two times his nearest competitor in votes.


But what about his dad and who is hammering away at Jeff Archuleta now? It comes from none other than Naomi Judd who was a judge on "Star Search" when David was on that reality TV show earlier and she ripped into dad calling him a "monster dad" and the worst stage dad" ever in an interview with the NBC Today show, according to a report from the New York Daily News.
