Jordin Sparks is the reigning champion of the Fox reality TV monster hit show American idol and now a new report says the budding young star has someone new to sing about! The American Idol winner, 18, was recently spotted having dinner with rising R&B star Steph Jones, 24, after his performance at NYC’s Spotlight Live, reports In Touch Weekly.

The adorable star from Arizona and is the youngest winner in American Idol history as she captured the title when she was just seventeen years old. That meant her parents were keeping a close eye on her dating when she first hit the road with the idol tour as there were all sorts of romance rumors some even included runner-up Blake Lewis.


But the report from In Touch says now that an insider claims that Jones and Sparks have "been tight for a while. The inisider dishes, "They hung out after she sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, and throughout Grammy week. They do the red carpet separately at events and then meet up together inside.”

Steph, a protégé of Ludacris, turned his life around with music after spending two years in a French prison, the magazine reports. “They looked cute together,” says a witness at Spotlight Live on February 26.
