Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie must have a very tumultuous relationship. The pair again have their relationship examined this week in Star Magazine. And almost like a re-run, the whole double life phrase has entered the Brangelina lexicon as the magazine examines what they believe to be Angie misleading Brad. ( I believe it was Us Weekly magazine that first came forward with the phrase).

The magazine claims that for years, say sources, Angelina has been leading a “twisted, double life”. She’s broken many promises, insiders say, and has been less than truthful about her previous lovers, her weight woes, and even her children.


One of these is very simple. Right after Angelina Jolie adopted Pax Thien Jolie she was quoted as saying that she was going to take a year off and spend some time with the child so he could adjust to his new life. “I’m working this summer,” she said, and then I’ll take a year off”. But summer is over and Angie is filming the Changeling in LA. In February she’ll begin Atlas Shrugged and right after that, she’ll go to work on the Topkapi Affair with Pierce Brosnan.

And this line from the story is classic: "Sources say the 32 year-old Hollywood super star has grown used to constantly reinventing herself. “She wants to erase the past and her public image as a husband stealer, drug user and sex fiend”, an insider explained."


Now I'm not certain about any "twisted double life" but I think it's clear that Jolie would love to have a do-over and likely she would not have lived such a wild past?
