Angelina Jolie: Health Concerns for Pregnancy Plans
Angelina Jolie and the continuing grief over the death of her mother has placed a huge strain on her health, the actress' brother James Haven claims. Jolie's beloved mother Marcheline Bertrand sadly passed away in January of this year after a long battle with cancer. The gorgeous actress recently broke down in a TV interview on NBC as she spoke about her late mother, and Haven is worried Jolie is letting the bereavement take over her life.
He tells British magazine Closer, "She exhausts herself and at the moment she has a very low resistance level because she misses our mother so much and just longs for her all the time." Haven also reveals Jolie's visits to less developed countries in her role as a United Nations ambassador has significantly affected her eating habits. He adds, "Angie visited Ethiopia and it changed her life. It's hard for her to go home to a very expensive restaurant and order freely."
There are also concerns that her weight will impeded her desires to get pregnant. A report from In Touch Weekly notes that she is trying to gain weight to prepare to have another baby. “She’s even started eating carbohydrates to show Brad she’s serious (about getting pregnant)," a Jolie insider told the magazine.
She'll need it - she looked scary skinny in Cannes. Jolie joked that she wants to put on fifteen pounds; she'll need more than that if she is serious about having a baby.
