According to a report from ife & Style Weekly Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz held one last party on October 3 in LA (to celebrate Ashlee's 24th birthday) before heading off into the sunset as young parents. Their theme? "White Trash." hey they said it. Welcome to Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's 'White Trash Party.

"They had people come over in costume and dress up in white trash," a source tells Life & Style. "Wife-beater tank tops, jeans, trucker hats, mullets, - the works. And a lot of beer. Some were drinking beer out of paper bags. It was really hysterical." The beer of choice in the paper bags? "Pabst Blue Ribbon - PBR." Ashlee wasn't drinking it of course!


Cue the country music jokes with the theme from COPS playing in the background. Hey, as long as they had a good time and as an added bonus Pete probably looked a bit better in his new wardrobe.

The magazine adds a serious note in the report as well. Ashlee and Pete kept thanking all of their friends for their support. They were also talking heavily about getting an NYC residence, to get out of LA and minimize the paparazzi experience and celebrity exposure for the baby. They've already been looking and were telling everyone of the insane prices for apartments in the city.
