Howard Stern Show fixture Artie Lange walked out of the studio after an argument and subsequent outburst that was basically a wild rant and might have been a stunt as he railed on at his personal assistant on the air earlier this week. There is a YouTube video that is basically just an audio clip of some of the altercation online. Is it a stunt or is this real, that's the question many are asking.

Artie Lange Rant on Howard Stern, He's Out!

According to several different reports, Lange was involved in an off-air dispute with his assistant. When Stern learned of the argument involving finances, he brought the two in studio to discuss their differences.


The verbal altercation turned physical and other members of the show stepped in to defuse the situation. In the heat of the moment, Lange offered his resignation and Stern accepted, but told him to leave and cool off. Who knows if the whole thing is real.
