Audrina Patridge was once know as the other girl on the show "The Hills" but with her red hot photo leak that wound up online she has boosted her own visibility and she helped bring the MTV reality TV show to record ratings. While the whole catfight angle and rumored sex tape leaks have boosted the show before nothing sells like skin.

Audrina Patridge Photos Leak Boosts The Hills Ratings to 5 Million!

Us Weekly Magazine is reporting that the season premiere of "The Hills" Monday night was the highest rated episode of the series ever. The show pulled in nearly 5 million viewers and that was when it was up against network TV monster hits "Dancing With the Stars" on ABC, and "American Idol" on Fox.


MTV reports that the season debut was the highest rated cable telecast of 2008. Audrina has moved up the scale for the tabloids as well. She is on two weekly entertainment magazine covers this week, one in her now infamous catholic school girl outfit and that was enough to get some people over to watch the show that had never tuned in before.

When the sexy photos first hit (a link to the stripped down photos is here and the fist link is safe) there was suggestions that Audrina may have leaked the photos herself. While that is not yet clear, she certainly has a nice career bump from the "scandal".
