Oh Baby! Kaitlin Olson was ready to go into labor with new arrival Axel Lee, but waited for Philadelphia Phillies star Ryan Howard to bat before heading for the hospital.

The MLB player rewarded the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actress and her husband Rob McElhenney with a dinger. The two attended the game to cheer on the Phillies, but the new family addition, a baby boy they named Axel Lee interrupted.

In a statement to People Magazine on Thursday, Olson said she went into labor at the Dodgers-Phillies game Tuesday night in Los Angeles.


The actress joked: "As soon as Ryan Howard hit a 3 run home run, we felt comfortable leaving to go have our baby."

She added: "We love him like crazy, even though he made us miss the second half of the game."

Olson, 35, and McElhenney, 32, married in Sept. 2008. The pregnancy was announced in March.
