Is Chuck E. Cheese the new Little League? Fights are breaking out at the popular pizza parlor and according to a report from the Wall Street Journal the adults are going at it in record numbers. The sometimes bloody brawls are increasing in one Wisconsin town and police there say it is way out of hand.

Police Called In

The report from the paper cites Brookfield Police Capt. Timothy Imler and he tells the Journal that in the town, "There's a biker bar down the street, and we rarely get calls there." So just how many times have police been called in to the kids' hangout of Chuck E. Cheese in Brookfield, Wisconsin? A whopping twelve times!


According to Mom Logic, "Cops chalk up the adult squabbles to a combo of alcohol, noise, big crowds and heightened emotions around kid birthday parties." The add that in "many cities' law enforcement officials say that adult fights at Chuck E. Cheese's outnumber the battles at local restaurants and even bars."

See video from Blogging Stocks here of one brawl that was captured on film and they add that during one serious altercation at the pizza place over three-dozen people were involved in the melee. According to the report that fight involved 40 people slinging punches and insults.
