Betty White Sitcom Deal - "Hot in Cleveland" Role in TV Land Show

You can't stop Betty White, you can only hope to contain her. The 88 years young actress had the number one Super Bowl Ad this year with the classic line "that's not what your girlfriend said" during a Snicker's candy bar commercial and her spot was so popular that a Facebook group demanded she host Saturday Night Live.

They won over NBC television and Betty White will co-host SNL next month on May 8 to meet the demand from the groups' efforts.
TV Land didn't need any prodding, according to the Associated Press the legendary comedian-actress has signed to co-star in the TV Land sitcom "Hot in Cleveland."

In the sitcom, White will play the caretaker of a home shared by three women, all L.A. transplants. Boston.com reports the series will feature Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick as the three roommates.
Ten episodes are due in June. White previously was only cast only for the pilot, but now has been signed on for the season.
