Beyonce and Destiny's Child Reunion Rumors for Super Bowl Halftime Show are So 2012 (Video)
Will Beyonce and Destiny's Child reunite for the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime show?
Beyonce Knowles leaked the news herself in October 2012 on her Tumblr blog that she would be in New Orleans to perform at the Super Bowl.
The singer posted a picture of herself with the date of the Super Bowl written on her face inside eye black and immediately the rumors began.
Since then - many believed she would reunite Destiny's Child on the Super Bowl stage bringing Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland in to perform with her.
There has even been a song list leak from Us Weekly.
According to the mag, Beyonce would perform her hit "Crazy in Love" during a solo set to kick off the halftime musical show.
Then - midway through the act, she was to be joined by Rowland, 31, and Williams, 32, to sing a medley of their biggest hits starting with "Bills, Bills, Bills," "Survivor," and ending with their new track "Nuclear."
However, Kelly has addressed the rumors and they are just so last year and just not true.
"I'm going to be in the musical Fela!" she recently told WRUG Media in an interview. "I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it's not true."
"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry," Williams said, according to E! Online.
"But we did record a song with each other before the holidays."
(They recorded a Destiny's Child's single called "Nuclear," and that's their first new recording together in eight years).
"I love the Super Bowl, but I love my sister [Beyoncé] more, so of course I'll be watching," she said at the VH1 Divas event.
