During a Fox news interview last week, the estranged father of Angelina Jolie, Jon Voight spoke with Fox news host Bill O'Reilly about a variety of issues and of course Voight's mega-famous daughter Angelina was one of the topics. Both men agreed, Angelina is amazing. Jolie has yet to allow her father back in her life after a 2002 TV interview where Voight said she should seek help for "serious mental problems."

But he still loves his uber-famous daughter and would love to get back in her life. So far that hasn't happened. But as he and O'Reilly talked about her, it was clear that both have a great deal of respect for her.

Bill notes, "Now, your daughter, Angelina Jolie. You know, we checked her out. I don't know whether you know this or not. Big investigation on her. And we found out she walks the walk, that she gives all the money, millions of dollars and this and that. She has become, I believe, the most interesting celebrity in the world. In your opinion, why?"
Voight was candid, "Yes, she is fascinating. She's fascinating to me. She's my daughter. I'm completely fascinated with her. And I have a great admiration for all the work she does and in her humanitarian effort.

I think she's quite stunning, of course. Very attractive gal. And she, for whatever reason, she has a certain charisma."

O'Reilly agreed, "In the acting — in the acting profession, you've known them all. Some people have charisma and some don't. She obviously has it." And for Jolie - she uses that for good, always taking the extra step to try and help those far less fortunate than her. One can only hope that at some point, she allows her father back in her life.
