How did Billy Mays die? TV pitchman and the star of "Pitchmen" on the Discovery Channel Billy Mays has passed. Expect the autopsy results to have great importance as the TV pitchman that is famous for selling everything from Oxiclean to ESPN was just involved in an airplane accident where he hit his head. He died the next day. AOL's entertainment and celebrity website TMZ.Com has video and photos of the man famous for selling everything under the sun on your television. There are already questions - is this another Natasha Richardson-like case? The month of shockers continues as stars are passing away. First it was Farrah Fawcett at 62, then Michael Jackson just a few hours later in the day (he was only 50 years old and died under what many believe is suspicious circumstances) and now Billy's tragic passing. he also was only 50 years old!

The photo above is Billy right after the accident. The TMZ video is here. He is explaining to a local television station what happened during the incident on board the aircraft and how event though he was hit, how he is okay and has a "hard head." Keep in mind there is still absolutely no evidence on how he died or if that could have contributed to his untimely passing.
Certainly that will be one of the things that is checked as the body is examined and the cause is given by the investigators. RIP Billy Mays - you are already sadly missed.
