Britney Spears still seems to not quite be over that whole rehab thing. It certainly appears as if it didn't really work, but just the thought that she may have been forced into seeking help by those that lover her seems to have rubbed Britney the wrong way. She writes on her website, "(I) see the world with a completely different set of eyes now...I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life. You never know another persons[sic] intentions or what another person wants. I feel I was too open and looking for answers when I had it all to begin with. I have had to cut so many people out of my life."

Britney Spears Cuts Off Parents?

Does that mean mom and dad? A report from Star Magazine cites a family source: "Britney has been refusing to speak to her mom or dad. She’s still speaks to Jamie Lynn and [their older brother] Bryan, but not nearly as much as she used to. Having Britney estranged from their parents has been hard on Jamie Lynn. She hates that her mom is always crying over losing Britney, and she’s been begging her sister to make up with their mom and dad.”

Star reported that not only did Britney, 25, miss her mother Lynne’s birthday on May 4, but when Lynne was rushed to the hospital with pneumonia just before Mother’s Day, Brit refused to visit or even call. Sources say that Britney is still refusing to attend any family functions and, even worse, is refusing to let her mom or her dad see her sons, Sean Preston, 20 months, and Jayden James, 8 months.

“This is Britney’s way of drawing a line in the sand with her family,” a friend reveals. “I guess she doesn’t want to be mothered anymore - though she proves time and time again that she needs it!”
