Britney Spears left rehab again this morning. She did not pass go, she did not get another tattoo, but she did, however, pay a visit to the attorney who represented Mel Gibson in his very public DUI case last summer. TMZ is reporting Spears went this morning to meet with Blair Berk, a prominent criminal defense lawyer whose roster of clients includes Lindsay Lohan, Halle Berry, Tracy Morgan, and others.

No word yet as to what prompted the meeting, although the report from AOL's TMZ.Com does state that it likely does not have to do with her impending divorce from ex, Kevin Federline. Britney has already reportedly hired celebrity divorce attorney, Laura Wasser who is representing her in the ongoing divorce.

With Britney’s every move caught by the photographers, video cameras and reporters, speculation is that she visited Berk in regards to a civil matter. Berk has also represented Reese Witherspoon with her battle with the ever present paparazzi. Witherspoon filed a police complaint with the LA police department in April 2005 after she claimed she was almost forced off the road by paparazzi following her home. She has since led a crusade trying to get the paparazzi to back off.

There have been allegations by salon owner Esther Tognozzi (the woman that owns the shop where Britney gave herself a buzz cut) that even though Ms. Tognozzi drew the blinds of the shop to keep the photographers and news crews at bay, her bodyguards opened up the blinds so cameras could pop.

If Britney's visit this morning is a similar request as Reese Witherspoon once had, she may want to check out her own entourage and instruct them to keep the drapes closed. Still - it appears the visit is a mystery.
