Paris Hilton got a break, Britney Spears did not. After a disastrous performance to open the show Britney was then lampooned by Sarah Silverman. Britney looked terrified on stage and completely out of it as she tried to perform. It was in a word - awful.

The comedienne immediately chimed in making fun of Britney's crotch to the point where if it wasn't so accurate it would have been funny. She called Brit's kids the cutest two mistakes.


She opened with this: "Was that incredible? Britney Spears, everyone," Silverman said. "Wow. She is amazing. She is 25-years-old and she's already accomplished everything she's going to accomplish in her life. It's mind blowing."

The whole thing was a rock bottom blow out - Britney is absolutely finished, at least for now. She is going to have to take a year off and perhaps make a real comeback later being out of the spotlight, losing some weight and regaining the sexiness and confidence that once made her a star.


Many people are expressing the opinion that Silverman was cruel. She kinds was, but it will be nothing compared to what Britney is getting ready to get heaved upon her online by celebrity observers.

Even on the People magazine poll, Britney's performance was called a fizzle other than a sizzle 87-13 percent.
