Cameron Diaz Beefs Up - Holiday Diet Takes Toll on Figure
Cameron Diaz has beefed up over the holiday season - the beautiful blonde actress has added a little winter weight.
Cameron is clear where the extra pounds came from - Diaz binged on ''pork skin and beef fat'' during the Christmas holidays.
The 'Bad Teacher' actress claims she took a break from her usually healthy diet to indulge in a variety of greasy foods, and even though her lack of exercise has taken a toll on her toned figure she doesn't regret enjoying a ''treat'' over the festive period.
In an extract from her new book 'The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body', Cameron reveals: ''I ate everything and was not exercising as much to offset my food intake. I was not managing myself. My body looks different now than it did two weeks ago. I am not going to beat myself up about that.''
''I ate the stuff I wanted to eat. I didn't restrict myself from things that made me happy. I was eating that way with my family and friends. We eat pork roast for Christmas, tacos the next day. I eat the pork skin, pork fat and the beef fat. That's my treat.''
Cameron co-wrote her book, 'The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body' with author Sandra Bark and insists she is sharing her diet secrets because she wants women to learn how to feel comfortable in their own skin.
The 41-year-old actress mused: '' [I'd like women to] stop hating their bodies, understand them, take care of their bodies and put that energy that they would be turning on themselves in a negative way out to the world in a positive way.''
