American idol winner and country music superstar Carrie Underwood seems to have it all. Except of course for Dallas cowboys QB Tony Romo. The gorgeous singer has said time and again that they are just friends but with all of the scrutiny coming down on Jessica Simpson and Tony after his horrific game this weekend it looks like the tabloids will again take a look at the blonde battle for Tony.

Carrie Underwood & Jessica Simpson: Tony Romo Battle Continues?

OK! Magazine has the blonde beauties on the cover back to back with the headline "it's War!" They have this tease posted online. "Jessica Simpson is trying to keep romance alive with Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo. But with fans blaming her for the Cowboys’ playoff loss, Jess is spending more time worrying about her well-being than her relationship. She’s also feeling pressure to outshine Tony's ex Carrie Underwood, a fellow blonde bombshell."


OK! claims they will uncover who comes out on top in this battle of the blondes. That seems like a fairly easy challenge. Carrie is very successful and continues to grab awards and accolades from the music industry in Nashville, Jessica has struggled with her career since her divorce from Nick Lachey.

Even this romance with Tony has been a disaster. It appears that Jessica is using Tony for publicity (with the game day footage of her in the luxury box and the leaked photos from the Mexican vacation). And now she is public enemy number one is Dallas. If there really is a war between Jessica and Carrie, it seems like a mismatch.
