Celeb News (Update): Sandra Bullock Battle; Jennifer Aniston Talk Show?

Oct 26, 2009

Update below - Jennifer Aniston and a talk show? Aniston is an Oprah BFF so she would certainly have a mentor and one report claims she wants a show on her network, but it sounds a bit far fetched. More celeb news, Sandra Bullock (pictured) is locked in a custody battle with her husband's (Jesse James) ex wife and reports claim she is ready to prove she is the better parent, according to the straits Times. Both stories follow.

One
- The husband of actress Sandra Bullock has been tussling with child visitation with his ex-wife. Jesse James has full custody of his daughter Sunny. Her mom, Janine Lindemulder landed herself in prison for tax evasion.

A judge has now ordered Lindemulder would receive visitation rights for at least the next 60 days, while James maintained his full custody of the girl. James had raised concerns that Lindemulder had remarried someone she recently met at the halfway house where she is now living.

She has married a man with a criminal record that includes felonies such as possession of methamphetamine and a sawn-off shot gun. James and Lindemulder both appeared before a judge at the Lamoreaux Justice Center in Orange County, California.

Lindemulder defended her husband and claimed the couple are determined to put crime behind them. She said she could leave rehab sooner if the judge in her criminal trial approved her chosen occupation of adult video blogger.

Two - Will Jennifer Aniston get her own TV talk show? According to reports, the former Friends star is said to have agreed to do a weekly show for Oprah Winfrey's new cable channel, OWN, when it launches next year.

"She is doing this for one reason only; she absolutely wants to do it," a source close to the deal said according to Fox News citing a report from the London Express. The report adds that a representative for Aniston, 40, was unavailable for comment. Is a denial forthcoming?

Update - The New York Daily News reports, "Jennifer Aniston is not, repeat not, going to host her own talk show," as the denials are indeed coming in. An Aniston talk show would certainly be a hit, but it appears Jen will continue to concentrate on the big screen and perhaps a visit or two a year to see her pal Oprah on her show via satellite.
