Celine Dion has settled a lawsuit with a former employee.

Keith Sturtevant had launched legal action against the singer and her husband and manager, Rene Angelil, in June, claiming he was not paid overtime when made to work more than 40 hours a week as a warehouse manager for the couple.

Keith claimed he was initially paid $50K a year, which eventually rose to $60K - but he alleged he was illegally classed as an Exempt Employee, and not entitled to overtime under US law.

A spokesperson for Celine and Rene has previously said: ''[Keith was] paid a handsome yearly salary that covered overtime for his services for three years.''

The representative added the couple had offered Keith $10K and a holiday when he was dismissed after three years working in 2009 for poor performance, which he rejected.

The suit was settled out of court for an undisclosed sum.

While the case has been going on, Celine has been recording her new album.

The 'My Heart Will Go On' singer - who was forced to cancel many of her Las Vegas residency shows earlier because of a virus - had been put on vocal rest but doctors gave her the all-clear to go back into studio.
