Chelsea Clinton plans to marry in upstate New York on July 31 at Rhinebeck as the former first daughter has finally chosen a locale for her high profile wedding to Marc Mezvinsky.

Unless this early leak is a misdirection, Chelsea's summer wedding will be held at the former estate of John Jacob Astor IV in Rhinebeck, according to the Hudson Valley News.

According to Gatecrasher, a gossip column from the NY Daily News, the wedding will take place in Astor Courts, the building once belonged to John Jacob Astor 4th. The report reveals the entire estate rests on 50 acres.


There's only 400 names on the guest list, according to New York Magazine. Two names on the list won't attend, Al Gore and Tipper are divorcing and Al is in the middle of a sex scandal.

They are taking a pass. "The Gores are not attending the wedding," family spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said in a statement to the NY Daily News.
