Chris Pine Faces Lawsuit from Former Agents Demanding Millions - Salary Revealed

The legal papers also detail Pine's salary for recent films, see below.

Actor Chris Pine is facing a lawsuit from some of his former agents, making allegations they're owed millions of dollars in commission.

The movie hunk landed his first acting roles in 2003, in episodes of hit TV series ER and CSI: Miami, but it wasn't until 2009 that he shot to stardom after scoring the role of Captain Kirk in director J.J. Abrams' Star Trek remake.

However, bosses at SDB Partners claim Pine decided to dump his representatives in November, via email, after allegedly ignoring demands to pay the agents their 10 percent commission for Star Trek and other projects they claim they helped him land during their nine-year partnership.

In court documents, filed on Tuesday and obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, the company's lawyers state: "Through this lawsuit, SDB seeks to not only recover its commissions on millions of dollars that Pine has already earned, but also the millions of dollars that Pine will continue to earn as a result of SDB's prior hard work and dedication to Pine's career."

The legal papers also detail Pine's salary for recent films - he reportedly earned $3 million for 2010 action thriller Unstoppable; $5 million for new romantic comedy This Means War, and he will bank $4 million for the first of three film adaptations of author Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan franchise.

That figure will double to $8 million for the sequel, and rise to $12 million for the third installment.
