Christina Aguilera is fresh off a stellar week one for NBC's "The Voice" to open the fall 2012 TV schedule, the show even topped rival "X-factor 2012" in a head-to-head ratings battle Wednesday night (9-12).

Now the star singer has more exciting news, Xtina has revealed she will release her new album 'Lotus' in November.

The 31-year-old singer shared details about her seventh studio album in a twitter Q&A session with fans yesterday (12.09.12), revealing that the record's lotus theme is a metaphor for her own survival and ''rebirth''.

In a series of tweets to eager fans, the 'Beautiful' hitmaker wrote: ''Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives.

''Self expression and freedom [are album themes]. The album represents a rebirth for me.''

The feisty blonde also hinted at what kinds of musical influences to expect from the album and promised fans she doesn't shy away from her trademark power ballads.

She tweeted: ''There will be a 'Lotus' intro to set the tone for the whole record. Conceptually I didn't target one particular sound/genre.

''There are some beautiful personal ballads on this album. I wouldn't do a record without them.''

The first single, 'Your Body', is released on Friday and the ''playful, tongue & cheek'' video was directed by Melina Matsoukas, the mastermind behind Rihanna's VMA-winning 'We Found Love'.

Christina also teased fans with the promise of a ''surprise'' before unveiling the single cover's raunchy artwork, where she appears nude with a peach-coloured piece of fabric covering her.

'The Voice' judge reminded fans to tune in for the premiere of the TV singing competition, but insisted she is still in ''artist mode'' at the moment and is just as focused on her music career as she is on her role as a mentor.

She said: ''I'm excited for S3 & #TeamXtina. Love this show! But I'm also excited to be in artist mode and sharing new music.(sic)''
