Conan O'Brien live might be coming to your city soon. The one-time Tonight Show host is under a TV ban until September, but according to an ABC News report, O'Brien may be taking his act on the road and even overseas.

Margaret Lyons of EW.com says its needed as the longer O'Brien stays out of sight, the tougher it may be to stay relevant.

She writes, "Team Coco's fervor is fading, and pretty soon the new story will be how Jay's doing back in his old time slot, whether NBC can leverage a post-Olympic ratings bump, if Letterman can turn this into the best ratings of his career. The time for a Conan tour is right now."


The Celebrity Cafe agrees (on the timing, at least) musing, "The move would be an excellent sidestep of the clause of his contract preventing television appearances. With Leno and Letterman distracted as they compete to establish preeminence in the medium of television, now might be the chance for Conan to ride his "I'm with Coco" wave of popularity right to the top."
