Dancing with the Stars Results Leave Some Furious as Bristol Palin Remains
The results of last night's Dancing with the Stars All-Stars (Oct. 9, 2012) left Bristol Palin on the show despite the fact that she had the lowest score for the second straight week.
Two couples were eliminated from the DWTS competition last night (it was double elimination night).
Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya along with Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower were show the door while Palin and partner Mark Ballas remain to dance another week.
Brenda Jones covered the show live here and when she entered the final result showing Helio was eliminated (Drew was eliminated earlier in the show) she aptly wrote, "cue the outrage!"
Some were furious, check out some of the comments after the show from that post…
"Bristol Palin keeps sticking around. This is insane she needs to go and let the other dancers shine. She is only in because of her family's politics. Can the Tea Party please be over? Seriously thinking about not watching this farce!"
Another…
"I am SO disappointed that Bristol is still on the show! The producers need to understand that the credibility to DWTS is at stake when they allow politics to dictate results. Bristol is immature; has a wooden personality; and cannot perform any dance at a competitive level. Other dancers have been forced from the show, and she has been allowed to remain. Why have other dancers compete at a superior level, and allow one person to downgrade the quality of performance? And as charming a Kirstie is, she is no match for the others. Pathetic."
Bristol's voters have kept her on the show - should DWTS allow the audience that much power?
