Will the weekly tradition of the Dancing with the Stars results night be all for nothing on Tuesday night? There are reports that Cristian de la Fuente might pull out of the competition as he was injured on Tuesday night during his second dance with Cheryl Burke. How serious is his injury, one report is citing sources that claim he might need surgery and if that is the case, he will surely pull out of the competition.

The extent of the injury has not been confirmed yet, tough. Also note that Cheryl and Cristian are on the bubble tonight, if there is a results show, as they had the lowest score from the judges and even though Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough are right near the bottom as well it appears that the audience and voters are really curious about their romance (Elizabeth is rumored to have now dumped her boyfriend) and they will likely be safe.


AOL's celebrity website TMZ.com is citing sources that say that the injury is so serious that Cristian de la Fuente might even need surgery. The video from last night's show is here and at the time he believed he had pulled a muscle. Host Tom Bergeron would later say that after being examined by the medical staff that he had a "severe muscle cramp" in his arm and he had it wrapped in ice.
