Sparks flew when Danyl Johnson and Simon Cowell had a row over the choice of song for this weekend's nail-biting X-Factor. The UK Mirror claimed Danyl stormed off in a huff after Cowell picked a ballad, Praying for Time. But he stormed off only to come skulking back again, the paper reported.

A spy on the show said: "A few production staff chased after him to try and calm him down and make him come back but he was having none of it. They even sent a car to follow him and try to make him see sense and return to the rehearsal but he refused. He seems very angry and upset and is demanding a different song. It’ll be interesting to see whether Simon Cowell agrees that the choice needs to change, or makes him stick with it."


Danyl had crisis talks with Cowell. The spy said: "Danyl is not going to win himself any fans with stunts like this, which just make him look like a spoiled brat. Even if the song choice is wrong, there’s no need to storm out, he should talk about it first."

Jedward, meanwhile, are promising to break out Wham! hits, while a surprise appearance from George Michael himself is rumored for Saturday's show. Louis Walsh has nurtured Jedward's repertoire.
