Happy birthday David Hasselhoff - it's number 60 for the Hollywood actor and he has big plans in the bedroom with his girlfriend Hayley Roberts on July 17, 2012.

The actor was born on this day in 1952 and earlier said he wants to celebrate his 60th birthday by making love to his girlfriend 60 times.

Will he make 61?

The former 'Baywatch' actor says instead of having the usual party, David intends on spending the whole day in bed with 32-year-old Hayley Roberts.

When asked how he was going to celebrate the occasion, he said: ''I have no idea. One way maybe I'll celebrate it is to stay in bed with my girlfriend and make love 60 times, that's what I want to do.''

As well as having a lot of romance planned, David would also like to whisk the former shop assistant away on a romantic holiday.

He said: ''I don't really know what to do. I may go down to Greece, I may go down to the Maldives. I like to scuba dive so I'm gonna go probably chase whale sharks.''

And luckily for Hayley, David - who has battled alcohol problems in the past - says he feels a lot younger and has plenty of years left in him yet.

He said: ''I feel like I'm 40. My legs are the only thing - I'm having a hard time running.

''The best thing about 60 is that I'm 60, I'm no longer 59. My dad's 87 and he's still going. We have a good constitution and I do a lot of harm to it. I do a lot of drinking - healthy drinking but I'm pretty healthy.''
