CBS talk show host David Letterman confessed to several office affairs with co-workers and once that was exposed, the TV entertainer admitted he was the victim of a blackmail plot! A man named Robert Halderman has been arrested, according to a report from TMZ, in a case that may sound like a CBS drama but is real life for Dave.

Letterman has confessed to what is dubbed on the CBS news website as "sexual relationships with female employees," and that sounds as if it means more than one woman and certainly it sounds as if it is on more than one occasion.

In the second celebrity extortion case this year (Hollywood heavyweight John Travolta is testifying in the Bahamas over a $25 million alleged scheme to get money from him) Dave has had to admit the affairs, and will now face some pretty severe scrutiny and since these were workers under him (so to speak) it will be interesting to see what type of punishment CBS doles out for their veteran late night funnyman with the wandering eye.
