Dead Sea Scrolls Mystery Solved - Shark Week 2010 on Discovery Channel

The clock is ticking on Shark Week 2010 on Discovery Channel and the mystery of the question of "Who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls?" gets another look at Nat Geo. Follow both cable TV items below.

Is the mystery solved? The documentary Writing the Dead Sea Scrolls will air Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the National Geographic Channel and explain some of the newest information and theories bandied about by researchers.

"Jews wrote the Scrolls, but it may not have been just one specific group. It could have been groups of different Jews," said Robert Cargill, an archaeologist who appears on the show.

Expect plenty of debate on that theory said Lawrence Schiffman, a professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University (NYU).

Shark Week 2010 - The Discovery Channel website must feel the anticipation as they have plenty of video and more here for the upcoming shark week.

The post teases: "Almost there! Shark Week starts Sunday, August 1, with "Ultimate Air Jaws" at 9PM e/p and "Into the Shark Bite" at 10 PM e/p."

One more note - On Sunday morning, "Shark Cam" kicks off with a live, interactive dive tour at 12:30 p.m. ET, a sand tiger and hammerhead shark feeding at 1:30 p.m. ET, and a whale shark feeding at 3:00 p.m. ET.
