Death Home Slashed by $10M (Photos) Michael Jackson Mansion for Sale
Aug 5, 2010
The California mansion where pop-star Michael Jackson died is for sale. The "death home" is marked down, according to a Wall Street Journal report. The newspaper reports online that the estate is "on the market for $29 million - a whopping $10 million discount from its 2008 price tag."
"The Richard Landry designed dwelling on N. Carolwood Drive in the hoity-toity Holmby Hills area contains a total of 7 bedrooms, 7 garage spaces, 12 fireplaces, and an unlucky 13 (bathrooms)," reports Real Estalker, a blog that covers real estate of the rich and famous.
They have photos and add: "The 17,171 square foot faux French chateau sits on a 1.26 acre lot according to listing information and is owned by Roxanne Guez and her controversial clothing manufacturing mogul husband Hubert who is the current CEO of that upsetting Ed Hardy brand."
TMZ reports no over-zealous Jackson fans and gawkers are allowed as the "owners have required all potential buyers to go through an "extensive pre-qualifying check" before they can even walk in the door."
