Cynthia Nixon has let it slip in an interview that a main character dies in the upcoming 'Sex and the City: The Movie'. According to a report from the MSNBC column, "The Scoop" the actress revealed to host Billy Eichner during the Creation Nation comedy show at the Zipper Theater on Apr. 15 that “a character dies in the movie." That should put some rear ends in the seats and get a little buzz about the film.

Nixon, who revealed this week she was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago - refused to name who gets offed, but said the loss would devastate lead character Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker.


According to the report, she spilled, "A character dies in the movie. There's a loss that happens that's pretty tough. Something significant happens to Carrie, and it really forces her to ask questions that you have to ask about yourself."

Femle First of the UK speculates, "While it is unknown who dies, it could be Charlotte York-Goldenblatt - played by Kristin Davis - who falls pregnant but may suffer complications. Another possible candidate is Kim Cattrall's maneater character Samantha Jones, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in the final series.
